Collie Ancestry, Glasgow, Scotland

This afternoon, I am posting information on Collie family history as sourced from a memorial stone at Glasgow's Necropolis. This records the deaths of:

  • Alexander Collie of Murlingden, Forfarshire. Merchant and Magistrate of Glasgow who died at Murlingden on June 4th 1870.
  • Wife, Isabella Robb, died at Glasgow on Nov 27th 1835.

    I'm descended from a sister of Isabella Robb - Elizabeth Robb - and she also shared an early death.
