• Dr Andrew Ure, F.R.S, M.C.S., M.H.S., Professor of Chemistry, Mechanics, Natural Philosophy, Andersonian University of Glasgow, Born Glasgow May 18th 1778, died London Jan 2nd 1857. Interred Highgate Cemetery. Tablet placed by daughter, Katherine Mackinlay.
