• Son, Alexander Rankin died Calcutta May 9th 1891 age 51
• Daughter, Grace died Dec 2nd 1900 age 58
• Isabella, widow of Cunningham Hundson, died Nov 3rd 1901 age 64
• Robert, son of Peter died July 3rd 1920 age 85
