This afternoon, I am posting information on Reiach family history as sourced from a memorial stone in Old Cathcart Cemetery and which records the deaths of:

• George Reiach, late General Instructor of Scottish Fisheries, who died at Edinburgh May 1898 age 76 yrs.
• Son, John Reiach died at Rio de Janeiro, Nov 1898.
• Daughter, Mary Anna Reiach who died at Anstruther 1859
  
• Daughter, Isabella Mowat Reiach who died at Guernsey on Aug 17th 1904.
• Wife, Mary Manson who died at London Feb 15th 1919 age 92 yrs.
• Son, Herbert Reiach who died at sea off Queensborough, Kent on July 16th 1921 age 47 yrs.
