• Husband, William Lyall, Merchant, on July 7th 1871 age 70 years.

Children:

• Robert Kidd- 4 months
• William Duncan-age 2 years
• David Austine-age 4 yrs.
• William Duncan-age 6 yrs.
• Catherine Kidd-age 17 yrs.
• Jane Austine-age 8 yrs.

Comment: This infant mortality for this family was high, even by the standards of Victorian Glasgow.
