Rae Ancestry, Glasgow, Scotland


This evening, I am posting information on Rae family history as sourced from a family memorial at Old Cathcart Cemetery, Glasgow. This records the deaths of:

  • John D Angus, husband of Jean Ferguson, Oct 28th 1935 age 44 yrs.
  • Jemima Ferguson, wife of Ernest Rae, on April 10th 1963 age 70 yrs.
  • Ernest Rae on March 28th 1965 age 77 yrs

    My maternal grandfather was John Rae who immigrated to Canada shortly after the Boer War and made his home in Manitoba, Canada.
