This evening I am posting information on Rowan family history as sourced from a memorial plaque at Govan Old Church. This records the following Lairds of Holmfauldhead:
- Stephen Rowan: 1690-1747
- Stephen Rowan: 1747-1799
- George Rowan: 1799-1855
- Catherine Hutton Rowan: 1855-1929
