This evening, I am posting information on Coates family history as sourced from a memorial dated 1781 at Ramshorn Burial Ground, Glasgow. This records the deaths of:
- James Coates, Manufacturer in Glasgow and Elizabeth Jackson, wife and children.
- Also, William Fleming, baker and Margaret Coates, his wife and their children.
