This evening, I am posting information on Stapleton family history as sourced from a memorial erected by Catherine Cherrie at Cathcart Cemetery, Glasgow. This records the deaths of:

• Robert Vincent Stapleton, late C.O.M.S., R.E., died Sept 30th 1920 from illness contracted on five years active service, age 27 yrs.
• Annie Brownlee, wife of Thomas Cherrie on Nov 18th 1926 age 58 yrs.
• Thomas Cherrie on April 10th 1939 age 75 yrs.
