• Margaret Allison on Dec 29th 1935, age 47 yrs.
• Janet Gowans on Feb 15th 1944, age 94 yrs.
• Helen Allison on Nov 14th 1949, age 73 yrs.Headmistress, Union School, Carluke, 1907-1937.
