This evening I am reporting on Hosie family history as sourced from a memorial at Kirk Lane Burial Ground. This was erected by John Hosie, Rope Maker, Glasgow in memory of:

• Janet Chapman who died Dec 10th 1815, age 44 yrs.
• John Hosie, Snr,, Glasgow who died June 4th 1830, age 56 yrs.
• John Hosie who died April 9th 1831, age 52 yrs.
• Ann Pollock who died Aug 20th 1890, age 84 yrs.
