Today I am posting information obtained from a memorial stone at Old Cathcart Cemetery and which records the deaths of:

Susan Haddow Shields, wife of Robert Orr, B Aug 17 1862. D Oct 30 1895

Robert Orr. B Sept 18 1850. D Oct 25 1899.

Their son, Alan Fraser B April 20 1892. D Sept 1 1908- drowned in wreck of the Amazon off Port Talbot, Wales.

Daughter, Edith Joanna Orr, wife of Alick James Sommerville March 11th 1915 age 26 yrs.
