This afternoon I am providing information on Morton family history as sourced from a memorial stone at Old Cathcart Cemetery, Glasgow. This records the deaths of:
George Morton, Captain 1/5 Highland Light Infantry killed in action at Dardanelles on July 12 1915 age 32.
George Morton on Aug 2nd 1927 age 78 yrs.
Janet Morton on Feb 19th 1938 age 80 yrs.
Arthur Boyd Morton on Aug 21st 1886 age 4 months.
William Wilson Morton on Feb 23rd 1928 age 43 yrs.
