This records the deaths of:

• John Slater of Birkinshaw, native of Cumberland, who died Feb 3rd 1848 age 71 years.
• Second wife, Sarah Telfer Geddes of Alloa who died March 13th 1822 age 31 years.
• Son, Archibald Sewell who died March 6th 1840 age 22 years.
