This evening, I am posting information on McAlister family history, as sourced from a memorial at Castlehead Church Burial Ground, Paisley.

This was established by John McAlister, Manufacturer, Paisley and Mary Thomson in memory of:

• Father, William McAlister who died March 1799, age 69 years.
• Daughter, Agnes, wife of George Houston, Manufacturer, Paisley, who died OIt 2nd 1813, age 28 yrs.
• John McAlister on Nov 25th 1814, age 18 years.
