This afternoon, I am posting information on Aitken family history as sourced from a memorial at Ramshorn Burial Ground. This records the deaths of:

• Robert Aitken, Banker, Glasgow and Burgess. First Lieutenant, 1st Regiment of Royal Glasgow Volunteers in 1797, died July 5th 1833 age 68 yrs.
• Agnes Easton on Jan 9th 1847 age 77 yrs.

Children:

• Elizabeth Aitken in 1816 age 4 yrs.
• David Aitken on Sept 1st 1830 age 20 yrs.
• Mary Aitken in June 1839 age 34 yrs.
• Jean Aitken on Feb 16th 1867 age 66 yrs.
• Margaret Aitken on Jan 20th 1889 age 86 yrs.
• Robert Aitken on July 19th 1890 age 84 yrs.
• Agnes Aitken n Oct 14th 1879 age 71 yrs.
