Brown Ancestry, Glasgow, Scotland

This evening, I am posting information on Brown family history as sourced from a memorial stone at Ramshorn Church Burial Ground.This records the death of:

• Andrew Brown, Merchant in Glasgow.

 Date stated is MDCC or 1700 which does not align with late 1700s dates on neighbouring stones. Also, the stone is in a very good state of preservation which, together with style of script, would suggest it may have been set up in the 19th century.
