This evening, I am posting information on Burns family history as sourced from a memorial at Kirk Lane Burial Ground.This records the deaths of various persons connected with Scotland's National Poet, Robert Burns (1759-1796).

• Gilbert Burns Begg, died at Pollokshields on Jan 11th 1866, age 83 yrs. Nephew of poet, Robert Burns.
• R.S. Thomson to his father John Thomson (born 1788) died age (85 yrs?)
• Betty Burns, Daughter of poet, Robert Burns 1791-1873.
• R.B. Thomson, died at Shawlands
• Eliza M Naught, died at Rutherglen, Dec, 1906.
• Margaret Thomson, widow of David Wingate, died at Crossmyloof on Nov 23rd 1895, age 63 yrs.
• James Glencairn Thomson. B Oct 19th 1827, D July 9th 1911.
