This evening, I am posting a clip of a tombstone from Cathcart Cemetery, Glasgow. This records the deaths of:

• John Bennie on Jan 7th 1899 age 56 yrs.
• His son, Andrew Barnhill who died at Nairobi ( now Kenya) on March 13th 1914 age 23 yrs.
