This evening, I am posting information relating to the family history of Sir William Bilsland, Glasgow. This was sourced from a memorial at Glasgow's famous Necropolis, viz:

• Sir William Bilsland Bt., Lord Provost (Mayor) of Glasgow 1905-1908 who was born March 17th 1847 and died Aug 27th 1921.
• William Blair, son, July 18th 1888-June 9th 1911.
• Agnes Anne Steven, wife, June 20th 1857-July 23rd 1935.
• Benjamin Charles Thompson, Oct 2nd 1885- March 16th 1952.
• Helen Isabel Thompson, daughter, Aug 28th 1896- Jan 15th 1972.
