This evening, I am posting family history information on Stewart as obtained from a memorial stone at Old Cathcart Cemetery, Glasgow. The following deaths are recorded:

• Marie Eleanor Stewart, Aug 25th 1907 age 7 years.
• 2nd Lieut William Johnston, 8th Royal Irish Fusiliers, killed at the Somme July 1st 1916 age 23 years.
• Marie Jean Johnston, died Sept 24th 1934 age 70 years.
• Robert Stewart OBE, JP., Ex Provost (Mayor) of Dunoon, died April 24th 1948 age 82 years.
