Today, I am posting a video clip of a Speir family memorial from Laigh Old Kirk, Paisley. This is a very old stone which records the death of Robert Speir on Sept 18th 1781 age 76 years.
The inscription goes on to state:
"Property of Robert Speir, his nephew and his heirs."
